As a wedding photographer, you can get a good idea of the dynamics of a couple as you work with them in front of the camera. Some couples are very handsy, some are not. Some poke fun at one another and joke around constantly, while others are more contemplative. Viviana and Phillip are the very laid back, fun loving type. I hardly had to prompt them at all because they were having plenty of fun without me interfering. Even a bird pooping on them didn't spoil their time together! I can already tell that they are well suited for each other.

I wish you guys the best and congratulations!

This is where engagement photos and family portraits meet. In a few months Heather and Zac will be married, blending their two families together. I am the lucky one who gets to document this special time!

I've known Heather the past 7 years and I am genuinely so happy to see her ending up with such a guy. They deserve each other in the best possible way!

We photographed this session at one of my favorite places on Planet Earth: Lost Dutchman. I am always game to travel out to this beautiful desert location. Enjoy a few photos from this session!

Meet my niece, Ally.

Super smart, talented artist, and apparently missing her calling as a model.

In addition to all that, she is simultaneously graduating from high school and community college.

I don't normally do high school senior photography, but family usually pulls us into one thing or another, right? I can't claim too much credit with these photos anyway, since Ally was the one coming up with poses and OWNING it. We meandered down Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona and I can't wait to do another session there again. There is so much texture and diverse backgrounds.

Congrats, Ally, on graduating!

SUU, here she comes!
